I started this aptly named blog (yes, I am a red-head) as a personal project. I intend to use this blog for tasting notes and thoughts on various vineyards and wineries I have visited....
Born and raised in Virginia, I spent 5 years studying visual communications design at Virginia Tech before moving back to Northern Virginia. When I am not drawing or designing, I can be found along hiking trails with my camera in tow, or perched in a chair with a bottle of LJ Beaujolais. Photography and wine have been a passion for mine for years and I still manage to make time to indulge in both. Outside of the office, I also like to spend my time seeking a great cup of coffee, growing herbs and vegetables in my small garden, burying my nose in a riveting book, and catching rays on the Potomac River.
